Information and resources for educators and families

Educators and early childhood professionals, working together with families, can help young children become safe and independent road users.

Starting Out Safely has developed a series of resources that support early childhood professionals and families. The resources include ideas for adults to help young children develop skills, behaviours and attitudes to be safer on our roads as passengers, pedestrians and users of bikes and wheeled toys.

We have worked with VicRoads and some of Australia’s leading early childhood education and road safety experts to put together a range of best-practice guidelines, educator resources, policies, information sheets and videos.

Go to information and resources for educators and information for families to find out more about the great range of road safety education information and story books, puzzles, play-mats and newsletter items.
